Tekken 8 video potentially leaks two characters back

Tekken 8 On the road just like new Street Fighter 6 is, and while little has been said about the former, we may have inadvertently caught a glimpse of some confirmed characters coming to Tekken 8 which has not yet been officially announced. Based on the footage depicting the motion capture work that went into the game’s development, it seems as though players are expecting Yoshitmitsu and the bird-of-prey-like Alex to be in this game.

The clip in question was shared not long ago by NHK and can be seen below. There’s a lot going on in the short 30-second clip, but the first few standout moments in the trailer happen around seven seconds long. During this clip, we see a left-handed character being thrown into a wall. Based on this, players have concluded that we will likely see Yoshitmitsu again in the game.

Perhaps even more interesting than that is what’s shown at about 12 seconds into the video. We see a motion capture actor running around with his arms bent in a way that definitely looks like what people would do if they were imitating a dinosaur of some sort. If that wasn’t enough of a giveaway, the actor is also shown sporting a big green ponytail. Based on these details, it looks like Alex will be back as well.

Tekken 8 It was officially announced in September, which explains why we don’t hear much about it when compared to something like Street Fighter 6 which has already been played in beta. Things like the new roster and mechanics haven’t been talked about yet, but we already know at least a couple of characters who will definitely return based on some of the limited story info that’s been shared.

The information on the game’s website reads “The TEKKEN series holds the record for being the longest story in a video game franchise”. Just as the closing dialogue of Tekken 7 stated, this new entry will focus on the father-son confrontation between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama.

After he suggested so many teasers, we now know that, too Tekken 8 Most will It will definitely be at The Game Awardsso expect to hear more about the game next.
